I recieved my certification in reflexology from ARCB in early 2006. I also am certified in massage through NCTMB and am a Reiki Master Instructor.
As a licensed instructor at the Spring Renewal Professional Massage Training Program in Saugatuck, MI, I teach an Introduction to Reflexology workshop and am in the process of putting together additional Reflexology programs. My experience before entering the alternative therapy field has been in accounting (BS from Penn State in Accounting), and then as a territory sales manager covering the midwest in the furniture industry. I am excited about the future of reflexology and its growth as a viable therapy to assist people toward good health. I am also looking forward to increasing my education within the field by taking CranioSacral Reflexology and Chi Reflexology, among others. I believe our body's natural state is homeostasis and Reflexology is a powerful healing modality to help us achieve this state of balance. |
