Phyllis A. Garvey (IL) Phyllis is a full-time Reflexologist living in Chicago. She has been a Professional Level member of RAA since 2001.
Phyllis has continued to add to her original 200 hr reflexology education and is proficient in the following methods: the Universal Method, American Standard , FJM, Chi Reflexology, Flocco Method and Cranio Sacral Reflexology. She continues her education yearly. Phyllis is an ARCB provider of ceu's and organizes Reflexology workshops around the U.S., offering fellow Reflexologists the opportunity to strengthen their reflexology knowledge and increase their practice. She is involved with her state association—RAI as the editor of their newsletter and coordinates workshops. Phyllis holds monthly Reflexology Shares for practitioners and students of Reflexology and gives presentations on Reflexology to local groups and at hospitals.
Phyllis previously served on the RAA Board from 2002-2004. During that time, she held the positions of Vice-President, Administration Secretary, Membership Committee Chair, Election Committee Chair, and Website Committee Chair. Her duties included working on membership drives, developing and improving the website, communication with members and state associations, by-law updates, affiliation, and leadership workshops. Phyllis was also a member of the Conference Committee that organized the 2002 and 2004 RAA conferences.
