Reflexology Association of America

Virginia Farwell
Director

Virginia’s journey into Reflexology began over ten years ago when she saw a small pocket chart. She soon moved away from her career with the US Forest Service and began a family. Five years ago, Virginia embarked on her formal training in Reflexology and was certified through ARCB in May of 2001. Since than she has joined the Arizona Reflexology Association and serves as their Recording Secretary and Chairperson of the Legislative Committee. Virginia has witnessed the process of moving a bill into law and the persistence it takes to get Reflexology exempt from a Massage Law. Virginia maintains a small practice in Tucson and volunteers for La Frontera Center as part of their Wellness Recovery Team. Virginia is the mother of two.  She hopes her enthusiasm for our profession will strengthen RAA as well as the many state organizations as we move into the 21st century.

“I feel communication between State organizations and RAA is imperative to strengthen our profession. Support can be just a click away. So when you are not sure, ask, we may be able to help. Communication will keep us informed on the many challenges our profession faces today. We have a great foundation, so lets build on it together to make Reflexology a household name!”
