About the Reflexology Association of Maryland

  • The Maryland Reflexology Association was founded in 1999.
  • The affiliation between the Maryland Reflexology Association and the Reflexology Association of America was formally approved by the RAA Board of Directors on November 16, 2006.
  • MDRA is an active state association supporting their membership with a fully seated Board of Directors and working committees.
  • MDRA holds Membership Events and offers Continuing Education opportunities.
  • MDRA publishes a quarterly Newsletter and maintains a Website including a Practitioner referral page.

 

Mission Statement:

  • The Maryland Reflexology Association is an independent, non-profit organization comprised of individuals interested in the advancement of the field of Reflexology.
  • The MDRA is not associated with any school or institute and does not endorse or recommend any reflexology curriculum, school or instructor.
  • Our mission is to provide communication and education to reflexology professionals as well as the general public. We encourage practice standards and provide a forum for which to work on local, national and common concerns.

The goals of the MDRA are to continue to provide professional support on a local and national level, continuing education courses, support research, educate the public, and monitor laws and regulations. The MDRA values each and every member and the role they play in strengthening our association. We welcome with open arms the planners, organizers, teachers and leaders who dedicate their time to building a stronger future for reflexology.

Professional reflexologists, students of reflexology, schools of reflexology and businesses/benefactors wanting to support reflexology are welcome to join MDRA.
