About the Reflexology Association of New York
- The New York State Reflexology Association was established in 1996.
- The affiliation between the New York State Reflexology Association and the Reflexology Association of America was formally approved by the RAA Board of Directors on April 23, 2008.
- NYSRA is an active state association supporting its membership with a fully seated board of directors and working committees
- NYSRA holds membership events, and offers continuing education opportunities.
- NYSRA publishes a quarterly newsletter, maintains a website, including a practitioner referral page.
Mission Statement:
NYSRA’s mission is to promote the highest professional standards amongst its membership by providing:
- An independent community for practitioner dialogue through our quarterly newsletters, an annual general meeting and a statewide conference offered every other year.
- Expansion of knowledge and practical skills through our continuing education programs.
- Dissemination of current reflexology research to membership.
- Increasing public awareness, knowledge and access regarding reflexology.
- Active participation in legislative efforts to protect our right to practice as a separate discipline within the State of New York.

Certified reflexologists and students of reflexology are welcome to join NYSRA and enjoy the benefits of belonging to one of the nation's largest and most active state reflexology associations. Members throughout the state are encouraged to participate in NYSRA coordinated events such as World Reflexology Week and our biennial state reflexology conference. NYSRA is an ARCB CEU provider, offering two workshops per year that are discounted for members in good standing. Professional and personal growth are perks of membership.
