About the Reflexology Association of North Carolina
- The North Carolina Reflexology Association was established in 2000.
- The affiliation between the North Carolina Reflexology Association and the Reflexology Association of America was formally approved by the RAA Board of Directors on May 4, 2006.
- NCRA is an active state association supporting their membership with a fully seated Board of Directors and working committees.
- NCRA holds Membership Events, and offers Continuing Education opportunities.
- NCRA publishes a quarterly Newsletter, maintains a Website, including a Practitioner referral page.
Mission Statement:
The purpose of this organization is to advance and support the competency and professionalism of Reflexology practitioners and the field of Reflexology in all its aspects. We desire to unite professionals of Reflexology with a communication network, consider legislative updates and continuing education opportunities. It is our goal to inform the public of the benefits of professional Reflexology and stay abreast of the latest scientific research.

The NCRA is a nonprofit corporation organized to unite Reflexologists for the common benefit of the profession in North Carolina, the nation and the world. Among others, our goals include the initiation of legislation for self regulation, the creation of continuing education opportunities, the support of new research, to give support to the voice of the Reflexology Association of America, to promote credentialing by sponsoring training programs that prepare students for certification by the American Reflexology Certification Board, to educate the public regarding Reflexology and to support and encourage each other in professional evolution.
NCRA provides information to the inquiring public, on Reflexologists in their area and proudly displays each individual Reflexologists level of education and expertise. Our North Carolina clients may rest assured they are receiving the finest in Reflexology. Our members have access to listings on the NCRA site, as well as separate pages to give additional information on their practice. Professional reflexologists, students of reflexology, schools of reflexology and businesses/benefactors wanting to support reflexology are welcome to join NCRA.
