Membership Applications

You can complete an online application to join RAA. Please observe carefully the qualifications for membership described below.

  • Payment is collected at the time of the application; however, all applications are reviewed and approved manually. 
  • Turnaround time for approval of fully completed applications is generally 5-7 business days. 

Qualifications

Professional Membership Levels:.

  1. Advanced Reflexology Practitioner: Open to any person or school who can show education and experience in the profession of reflexology.
    • 300+ hours of documented reflexology training, of which 60% or 180 hours must be in a live classroom setting, in-person with an instructor.
  2. Reflexology Practitioner:
  3. Retired Reflexologist: Past RAA Advanced Reflexology Practitioner or Reflexology Practitioner member.
  4. Reflexology School:
    • The school's owner must also be a professional member of RAA.
    • Note: Schools do not vote or hold office, but the owner may.
Associate Memberships are also available:
  1. Student: Any individual pursuing an education in reflexology.
  2. Supporter: Any individual, organization or business entity that desires to support the growth and development of the reflexology profession.
  3. Honorary Limited Membership and Lifetime Membership: Awarded by RAA.




What You Need to Apply

Be prepared to enter or upload the following information. As long as you don't clear browser cookies, you will be able to return to a partially completed application. 

  • Billing/Personal name, full address, mobile phone, and email address.
  • Separate Public/Business Profile name, address, business phone, business email address, business website, and related association memberships.
  • Current reflexology training documentation and details, along with accreditation, related association membership info, and interests in volunteering for RAA.
  • Optionally a separate Shipping address if different from your Personal or Business address.

Examples of Reflexology Education Documentation

  • School transcript from a reflexology school.
  • Certificates of completion for continuing education units.
  • Copy of accreditation card from the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB).
  • Certificate of program completion from a specialized area of reflexology.
  • Proof of completion of associated programs reflecting core studies of a reflexology school.

RAA has the final approval of all documentation provided based on its definition of reflexology and bylaw standards.
